This review is from: Elite Screens EZ Cinema Plus Floor Pull Up Projection Screen, 16:9 Aspect Ratio-84in. (Max White)I bought this because I wanted a projector screen that I could hide when not in use, because mounting a pull-down screen on the wall or ceiling were not options for me. I thought this pull-up screen would be perfect for my living room! It worked nicely for about 2 months.I left the screen open (pulled up) while out of town, not thinking it would be an issue (I've left it pulled-up for days at a time without issue), but came home and discovered the screen in pieces all over the floor. The internal spring or latch seemed to have failed, the screen apparently sprang up so fast that it pulled the screen out of its reel, and I found the screen resting in a bundled-up mesh on the floor. Tried putting it back together, but trying to put the screen back into its reel is not possible once pulled out.I explained the situation to Amazon that the product broke on me. They were helpful and understanding, and accepted my return with a pre-paid UPS label. Granted I had to pay a UPS store $35 to package the thing because it's size required 4 boxes taped together, and granted Amazon deducted a 20% return surcharge, but was happy to be rid of this thing and accept what refund I can get.If all you want is a PORTABLE projector screen for occasional use, I'd probably give this 3 stars, mostly because of its high cost for something you'll only occasionally use. But if, like me, you plan on leaving it extended for any length of time (like says at a time), I'd avoid a pull-up projector like this where the mechanics can break (or snap) like mine did, rendering the unit completely useless.I just replaced this with a fixed 84" screen for my living room, which I quickly learned is just about as easy to take down and hide anytime I want. A fixed screen has no potential for mechanical issues, and I'm happy with that....

This review is from: Elite Screens EZ Cinema Plus Floor Pull Up Projection Screen, 16:9 Aspect Ratio-84in. (Max White)I am working on my home theater, and just ordered this Elite EZ Cinema Plus screens from Amazon. I got it today, I was very disappointed when I openned it. It's very poor quality and has a big black ink spot at the middle of the screen! Come on, it should be a pure white screen, just imagining there is a ulgy black spot at the middle of your face!I saw other online store has better price for this item, but I trust Amazon. I always love shopping from Amazon, and I have many good shopping experience. But this time is really bad. It's a 74 in long & 30lbs big item, and not easy to repack and send back. The big problem I want to setup my home theater before the holiday, but now I don't have a good screen. And I don't think I can do it by Christmas. I feel really bad!...
