SHELF LCD MOUNT
This review is from: 13\" To 24\" Small Flip-down MountAlthough this item is meant for under cabinet use in a kitchen or bookshelf I am using it to rotate a flat panel LCD TV 180 degrees so I can view the TV from my kitchen or my dining room. I have mounted it on the cieling divide between the two rooms and routed the wires across the cieling and down the wall to the cable box and power outlets. I covered the wires with a kit for hiding this type of wiring. Although I can still flip the TV up I use this feature to angle the TV for a good view from a sitting or standing position. The unit is very well built and the TV stays where you set it. The TV can be rotated more than 180 degrees and about 95 degrees from the verticle. If you have a need to see a TV from two adjoining rooms a wall mount can't do this. This is the only way. I think this item was meant for RV's but it works for me in the house....

The only small downside is after turning the screen back and forth, it tends to slowly go down down down, so we have to occasionally force the thing back up the mounting pole.Otherwise well worth the money....

The cabinet it is mounted under is not deep enough for the TV to fold up flat under the cabinet but I knew that would be the case and is not an issue. It is mounted under a cabinet in the eat in kitchen area....
