This review is from: Elite Screens EZ Cinema Plus Floor Pull Up Projection Screen, 16:9 Aspect Ratio-74in. (Silver Grey)This is my first screen I have purchased to match up with my first projector. I went with a pull up screen because I wanted something portable to go in front of my fireplace. There is a LCD HDTV mounted on top. I wanted to be able to watch two things at once, mostly ESPN on top and a video game on the bottom. Plus it would be nice to be able to bring a screen around especially for large family gatherings. Another option was a tripod screen but the measurements on those usually meant that I would be blocking the top television and the center speaker channel. So a pull-up was perfect since the screen started a few inches off the floor and I could raise it as high as I wanted.I was impressed at first. The scissors mechanism to raise and lower the screen is quite easy to use. The picture quality was definitely better that projecting on my walls. Plus it was very portable and it came with a bag. But the screen toppled over quite easily. Like the other review said, you probably should set this against a wall. That was a really not major issue for me since it was going to rest against the fireplace top shelf and I probably could find other solutions to stabilize it if I were to bring it around. Another issue was that the sides were curled in but from what I read that is a common issue with screens like this and I was willing to deal with that. But the deal breaker was that there was a slight tear on the top right corner of the screen. Not perceptible when watching a movie but really poor quality control on the manufacturer's part. And there was a few blemishes on the screen that was unnoticeable when projecting but unacceptable when considering the other flaw. So I'm returning this.Buying a large flat white board/sheet from a hardware store to project on to but if that doesn't meet my satisfaction I will be definitely buying a pull-up screen but from a different manufacturer....
