I am very happy with my purchase and feel this was well worth the money! I researched similar items here on Amazon, what I was most concerned about was good mouse/pointer contact and use. This product delivers! (This was for my personal entertainment computer use, not for presentations so I cannot speak to that aspect of the product.) I was concerned since it's called an 'iPazzport' that it was only good for Apple iPad, etc. type products but took at chance and it turned out that while oddly named, it is compatible with my Toshiba tablet computer. The mouse pad on the device is the same responsiveness as the track pad on your laptop-so if you are looking for one you can easily 'mouse' around with from a distance, this has that precise functionality-it takes a couple swipes to get from the top to bottom or one side to the other of the screen, but it moves smoothly and quickly-perfectly! I also love and am quite happy with the 'page up' and 'page down' functions, as well as the 'next page' and 'previous page' and left and right mouse buttons all featured at the top of the device within easy reach (though I did find that I use the `next' and `previous page' functions a lot and the buttons were a bit small for repeated use). The iPazzport is light, easy to use, but definitely intended for right handed users. I did switch off to my left hand (I am a lefty) and would occasionally accidently brush a button and scroll ahead further than intended so you may want to bear that in mind if you are a left handed presenter I suppose. I had trouble finding the backlight button but that's only because I jumped into using this without reading the manual, so that's on me. I did locate the function and it's a bright orange glow behind the center of the keyboard, and the number buttons and function keys along the top and the bottom weren't as brightly lit as the center but certainly easy enough to see. The on/off switch is on the right hand side near the bottom and it took me no time at all to train myself to cut it off when not in use since its in such a good location-no way to accidently shut it off either, it's a slide button function. The device fit easily into the palm of my hand-a good size and weight for long term use, much like a Blackberry, would be my best comparison.Typing on the keyboard is great-similar to phone texting though (at least with my phone) you don't have to press down very hard to get a response which is great-you get a muted snap sound when typing which is fine. It was SO great to be able to sit on my couch and type instead of trying to use the stylus my computer requires-now THAT was painstaking! Line of sight mousing-you DO NOT need to have the mouse pointed at the computer/laptop in order to get a response-I covered the front of my mouse with one hand and with the other (by the way, one handed typing is a cinch with this device too-very handy)and the iPazz worked fine. So after gaining some familiarity with it, I was able to relax and move my mouse away from the computer and sit back comfortably on my couch-point the mouse in whichever direction and still get the desired results. The only thing I didn't test (and meant to) was how far away I could get from it and still get a response. When I first opened the package I looked for a battery requirement so I could get started mousing right away, and found that it was already charged and ready to go-and there is no battery requirement. When it's time to recharge, you simply plug it into your computer with the usb cable provided to power it up. I love my new wireless mouse/keyboard, it was cheaper than the serious competitors I was considering and I am very happy I took a chance with this. It's well worth the money and I would absolutely purchase again!...
