The mount is high quality-solid metal with so many options for the mount and the projector. Trust me this thing is not flimbsy and the coating is very nice, almost like a black powdercoat. the screw packages are a little confusing since it mounts most all projectors but take your time. I had my projector mounted in less than an hour. I also like the big channel down the middle to hide the cables....
