Although the display of the time is great, when it's projected on the wall/ceiling you need a pair of glasses or a magnifying glass to see the numbers. I'm really disappointed, especially since I paid $50. I really didn't need another alarm clock - I wanted one that would display the time on the wall/ceiling. I ended up with just another alarm clock and a worthless projection of the time....

It does have a dimmer that is 3 steps but still too bright. I was looking for clock radio like the in hotels that don't glare but you can still see them in the night.I was tempted to return but it was a gift and my wife said she would adjust to it, but i have to tollerate it....
