However, after plugging it into my projector, I got low light output and smelled something burning.Turns out this part is made cheaply, and does not have all the bulb clips the genuine epson part does. Because of this, the bulb tilted offcenter, and aimed the powerful light beam improperly. Now I have a nice scorch mark on the inside of my projector. Not sure yet if this has ruined my projector, but hopefully it's only aesthetic damage.Stay FAR away. Don't destroy your $2000+ hardware to save less than a hundred bucks....

Like others posters experienced, this bulb is junk. Barely showed picture on screen, and the burning smell also was coming from my projector. Only had on for about 5 minutes. Took bulb out reseated same problem. Returned to Amazon as defective....
