Alas, the cable does not work as advertised. Everything works fine at lower resolution/refresh rate settings (up to 1080i), but this cable does not transmit 1080p video signals. When connected to a 1080p device with this cable, my TV just displays an error message saying that the current resolution isn't supported. My TV is able to display 1080p signals when using other HDMI cables, so this isn't just a case of user error. I bought the pink version (INSTEN Premium HDMI M/M Cable 1.3b, 25 FT - Mesh Pink) of this cable at the same time, and it doesn't do 1080p either....
