This review is from: Optoma BG-ZD101 DLP Link 3D Glasses with 3 Interchangeable Nose PiecesI got the Expand glasses first and had problems with them when I sat back more then 5 feet with alot of flicker and 3D going out. Thought I would have to give up 3D.Then decided to try these glasses which are $30 less then Expand. The worked flawlessly..no flicker and and sat thru all of Moster house without the 3D going out once. Awesume...I just ordered 3 more pair. I you have a Mits 73 inch TV (my model 835), Mits 3D Adapter and a PS3 with 3D firmeware updated...it works perfect. The 3D games are awesum....

This review is from: Optoma BG-ZD101 DLP Link 3D Glasses with 3 Interchangeable Nose PiecesI was skeptical at first to get this, but it worked out great. These glasses are best to use with the 3D ready DLP HDTVs. They don't require a separate ER emitter. The glasses sync up to the TV, using the TV's DLP-Link function, without an IR emitter. I have a Samsung HL67A750 TV with a Panasonic DMP-BDT100 Blu-Ray DVD player. Panasonic is the only one that you can set up to play in a checkerboard format. Samsung players do not work in this format....

This review is from: Optoma BG-ZD101 DLP Link 3D Glasses with 3 Interchangeable Nose PiecesAfter having these glasses on my wishlist for months, last week there was one pair available from Amazon for a very fair price so I pulled the trigger. I received the glasses on Friday and spent this past weekend trying them out. The equipment I used with them is a Mitsubishi 65735(65" DLP), PS3, Xbox 360, and HD DVR from Comcast. Over the weekend I watched Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 3D on PS3, Played Call of Duty: Black Ops in 3D on the 360 and looked at some of Comcast's on demand 3D stuff. I was impressed by the performance of the glasses, I thought the 3D was great, just as good as anything I have seen in the theater, if not better. The glasses will dim your picture so be prepared, however an adjustment of your TV will quickly fix that. I was particularly amazed by Call of Duty, the depth that is added to the game is remarkable. The first time I looked down the sight of my gun in 3D was truly a "wow" moment for me. I was apprehensive about the comfort of the glasses at first but when I found a nose piece I liked it was not an issue. I watched "Cloudy" without any discomfort or eye strain. The following night I played Black Ops with them on for about 4 hours at which point the bridge of my nose became sore. Personally, I am happy with those results, I don't really see a need for using these for more than 4 hours anyway. The construction seems good not great, they are pretty solid for the most part and I don't have children so I'm not too worried about the louvered part on the arms breaking, I do plan on keeping them protected in the packing foam in a drawer when not in use. To anyone who does have kids, I would warn you these are for adults and responsible kids only, it is very clear that it would not take much for a kid to pull on the arm and easily snap it off. Overall, I would say these glasses are worth a purchase if you like 3D content, what little there is at this point. I'm sure if 3D at home takes off there will be many more options out there for glasses in the next year or two, but if your an early adopter and don't mind first generation equipment you will be very happy with your purchase like I am....
