This review is from: Projector-Gear Projector Ceiling Mount for EPSON PowerLite Home Cinema 6100 6100UBI had my Epson 8100 sitting on a shelf, but the projector was longer than the shelf was and it was very unstable. I needed a solution quickly. So I just typed in "Epson 8100 ceiling mount" into Amazon's search engine and after reading positive reviews of Projector-Gear company online, I decided to go with theirs. And it was inexpensive too. The ceiling mount being sold directly by Epson was going for $150. Ordered the mount. It was shipped priority mail and I received the mount in just a matter of a couple days. The packaging included hardware and easy-to-use instructions for 3 different installation methods which was a GREAT idea considering no 2 houses are going to be the same. Since my stud-finder could not find any studs that were centered in the room, I ended up having to use the spring-loaded dry-wall-backing screws rather than just normal screws. Took a little extra work to install the mount, but it was worth it. The only thing I have to recommend is having a 2nd person help you attach the projector to the mount as it was hard to hold the projector with one hand and screw in the bolt with the other hand. Another positive of the hardware is the neck can be angled in both directions for perfectly lining up the projector to your screen. This was exactly what I wanted and I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg. It's not the prettiest thing out there, but the metal will be hidden from view anyways, so it doesn't matter. I would recommend projector gear for anyone else looking to improve their home theater. Oh...and one final bonus...I no longer walk in front of the lens when I'm going to the couch anymore. No more shadow puppets....
