This review is from: Acer H7530D DLP Home Theater Projector (1080P)My previous projectors were "Benq MP611c/800x600/, Epson 705HD/1280x800 and Benq W600/1280x720/. So , this is my fourth and last one, no doubt :) The price I paid was 810 USD/including shipping/.The projector is small, light and it looks very fancy. The menu on it is very well-arranged and backlit/blue neon/.The remote is not backlit and there is a reason for this Acer's engineer decision. It's so simple for use,so you don't even need to look at it.The most important thing for me of any projector is black levels!!! DLP produced better black levels than LCD , especially in budget sector,so I decided to bet on DLP/Epson has the most washed-out black levels I've ever seen,and the most noisy almost useless auto iris too/Acer doesn't have a lot of experience with home theater projectors , but with this model they kick out the competition in this price range.They called auto iris "Dynamic black" and it has 2 levels-Middle and Higher.I can tel you that when I watched any movie , especially on Blu-Ray, I feel like being in the movie theater!:) I'll attache some pictures of my new home cinema :)...

After reading a lot of reviews, I decided to get the DLP style projector and I have to say it was defiantly the way to go. I only notice the "rainbow effect" if I move my head real fast or look away from teh screen and back quickly.The picture on this projector is way better then any of the other projectors I have used at school or in the office.The only problem with this projector is that the mount for installing it upside down on the ceiling looks really weak (it's just a small screw, yes just one). This was not an issue for me as I was placing it in the wall behind the theater seats....
This review is from: Acer H7530D DLP Home Theater Projector (1080P)This projector really impressed me, even on a normal white wall the sharpness and the contrast was amazing!It's a bit noisy but you don't hear it as soon as the movie starts playing.The auto keystone is really impressive and the menu is pretty intuitive.I strongly suggest it....
