I wanted to have them digitalized so that we can enjoy them. I did some researching before I found this "box", ordered it and it came within a few days. I brought it home for Christmas and it was amazingly simple. My dad was very skeptical to start with but in no time we had the movies transferred to my computer and I uploaded them to the internet so the whole family can watch. I used my digital camera with video function as I do not have a cam corder but the quality turned out great. It is easy to set it up and takes little effort or technical knowledge. Just adjust the camera so it captures the frame correctly and hit 'record'. That simple!I only converted super 8 movies but next time I go home I will try it with slides and old pictures....
