InFocus X6 DLP Projector

With True Enhanced Performance.

Latest Technical Development.

This review is from: InFocus X6 DLP ProjectorI was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture from this projector. Being on the low-end price-wise I didn't expect the high-quality picture that it projected. I bought it for my 15-year old daughter to have movie parties with. It is also very simple to operate. The only downfall is that it only came with a cable to connect to a PC, but not a cable to connect to a DVD player (S-video to RCA) I had to order that separately since the stores (Radio Shack & Circuit City) do not carry it in stock....

This review is from: InFocus X6 DLP ProjectorI bought an Epson Powerlite S3 three years ago and used it for DVDs, cable and to play my Wii. With a $1,000 budget, I bought the projector, a stereo surround system, a can of low gloss white paint and some black trim and built a home theater that will rival one that would cost 25-30K (if you bought a comparable-sized plasma TV). I loved it. The quality was somewhere between watching a movie in a theater and watching one on a plasma tv. The image projected about 108 inches and was a wonderful, cheap home theater system. But my epson died after three years. So I bought this cheaper brand. And it is MUCH better. Maybe all projectors have gotten better in the last three years, but this version is much better than what I paid nearly twice as much to get back then....

This review is from: InFocus X6 DLP ProjectorProjects well.. light weight, easy to carry and set up. Instructs over simplified. Troubleshooting tips lacking. I hit pause and was unable to get a picture back. It appears that the only way to get the picture back is to unplug and s tart all over....
